Why Voiceover?

I grew up in a very theater heavy family, spending many days after school at local theaters for a family member’s rehearsal. As repetitive as it got, I did find it enjoyable at times. Sadly I didnt do much of anything till I had the chance to take an intro class on VO shortly after having graduated college. Though during college, I did begin looking into voice actors the same way many people follow on screen actors, it wasn’t till after the 1 class, I was hooked and began my journey from there.

Why shift from Engineering to VO?

I wouldn’t say I am shifting my career path. Engineering has always been a passion of mine, being able to see how technology advances and grows, but VO has developed into something that I truly enjoy in my life, if it becomes a full career that would be awesome! If not, then oh well, at least I get to have fun with it and enjoy the journey and hopefully entertain some people on the way.

What do I Stream?

I don’t usually stream alone unless I am working on some prop commissions that people are interested in watching. Some of the time I will stream random games with some of my friends, but majority of my streams are Dungeons & Dragons playing through custom written stories. I use this platform as a way to practice voice over and to be more comfortable making a fool of myself with an audience. I was very fortunate to have enough people enjoy it to become an affiliate with Twitch. I stream purely for my own voice practice and comfort, as long as people enjoy what I am doing and the humor that comes along with herding cats through stories, I’m happy.
